Tell readers about your new book STEM Careers from A to Z?

Motivate children to shape their future through STEM! What Can I Be? STEM Careers from A to Z is an easy-to-read alphabet picture book written for children ages 5 to 8 years old.  Using colorful illustrations that include six diverse children, the book showcases a variety of STEM careers (i.e. astronauts, doctors, scientists, and engineers, etc.) from A to Z.  This book provides children with the opportunity to see themselves in one of the featured STEM careers.

What do you hope readers will take away from your story?

Children are able to see themselves in the featured STEM Careers.

Give us an interesting fun fact about your book?

The characters in the book for Mechanical Engineer and Civil Engineer represent my brother and myself.

Kids STEM Book.

What do you feel separates your book from others?

I am am a diverse engineer, who wrote a book that encourages more kids to see themselves in these featured STEM Careers with six diverse STEM Crew kids.  Encouraging that representation matters.

What’s something that will always be in fashion, no matter how much time passes?

The concept of STEM careers will always be around.

What is the most impressive meal you can cook?

Shrimp, chicken, broccoli alfredo pasta.

Are you a planner or more of a go with whatever happens when it comes to travel?

Combo of both by starting off planning, however flexible when things change.

What’s one of your favorite family traditions?

Enjoying time together on Thanksgiving.

What is something about life that people don’t appreciate as much as they should?

Family is important and no matter what the love of family should be appreciated.

What’s your favorite thing about humanity?

My favorite thing about humanity is that we all have gone through something and it takes empathy to understand that concept and show love towards each other.
