Jazmine Cruz is a freelance model, located in Georgia. She has been modeling for two years. She has been published in 504 Dymes Magazine, So Kold Magazine and IS Magazine. She has been chosen to debut as a comic book villain, “Diamond Woman Assassin” in Orlando Florida at the Power Ranger Convention on November 13-15 2020.  This character originally created by Alex Bonilla and is based on the comic cook “Antioch.” She is a certified personal trainer, bodybuilder and powerlifter with her own business called, Body By Chrissy LLC. She has competed in a myriad of lifting competitions including deadlifting and bench press.

How does it feel to be selected as one of the Abners Angels?

It feels so surreal, I am so thankful to be chosen!

Was modeling something you always wanted to do, or did it just kinda happen?

I always wanted to become a model since I was a kid.  I love seeing the creative and artistic magic happen in the photo shoot.  The make up, the wardrobe and the different poses weaves a story behind that magic.

What do you think you look the sexiest in? 

I look sexiest in tight jeans and a white tank, glamorous dresses and pearls, Victoria’s Secret lacey lingerie to tight fitting athletic shorts and a sports bra.

Do you prefer studio or location shoots?

No preference.  I enjoy both types of photo shoots.  For me, its all about the concept.

What is your dream modeling job?  

I would love to become a fitness model and be featured in the cover of fitness magazines like Women’s Health, Women’s Fitness, Shape Magazine and Oxygen Magazine.

What have you accomplished being a model?  

I have been a featured model in the the following magazines: Superhero issue of 504 Dymes Magazine 2020 Edition #3, Rock Goddess Issue of 504 Dymes Magazine,”So Cold” magazine 2020, Issue 15 and IS Magazine.

Would you rather have more hours in the day or more days in the weekend?

I would rather have more hours in the day.

If you could make one wish, what would it be? 

I wish to see my older brother and mother again.  They passed away years ago.  I would tell them how much I  love them and spend as much quality time with them.

What are you most excited about in your life right now?

I am excited that I can finally perform yoga workouts.  Flexibility used to be my weakness, so this year I decided to incorporate more yoga to my routine.

Have you ever completed anything on your bucket list?

Yes, I won first place  in the Women’s Physique Bodybuilding Competition and the Strong Woman Competition at Daegu, South Korea.

Do you feel your childhood was happier than other people’s?

Yes, I really do.  We had a family band, where my dad played the guitar, my older brother played the drums and I sang and played the keyboard.  We had the opportunity to travel to many music gigs, earn some money and eat delicious expensive food.  I also remember going to Six Flags, Kings Dominion and the Space Museum in Washington D.C., I had the happiest smile on my face!

Which aspect of your life is going really well right now and which aspect could you use some help with?

My family life.  I have an amazing daughter, who is my make up artist and helps select my modeling wardrobe for my photo shoots.  I need help with more modeling paid photo shoots.  I would also need help with finding a way to land in a Fitness and Health magazine.  I would like help with acting or vocal lessons, so that in the future I can land a role in a movie or a music video.  No harm in being ambitious.
