Lina Wolf is a freelance model from Broward County, Florida. She’s a full time nursing student, model and MUA. She’s also a creative director and creates her own modeling events like workshops and power shoots. She has been modeling since she was 19 years old. Started off as something spontaneous being her college roommates muse to shooting for fashion, walking runways and now creating her own model workshops.
How does it feel to be selected as one of the Abners Angels?
It’s super dope being recognized and for you to reach out to me is super humbling. It motivates me more as a creative to know that people are genuinely interested in what I do.
How long have you been modeling and what inspired you to become a model?
I have “technically” been modeling since I was 19, but started taking it seriously when I was 21. I’ve always wanted to be a model since I was younger. I really wanted to show a different side of modeling, where Asian women with tattoos can be beautiful. Growing up I never saw any celebrity or model that looked like me, so I wanted to be that change and show the world something different.
What physical features do you get the most compliments on? What are you insecure about?
I feel like my facial features get complimented a lot, especially because I’m Asian. People say I look “exotic” or “foreign”. I’m not insecure about anything anymore and I really grew to love myself fully.
Do you prefer studio or location shoots?
I genuinely love both, because you get different vibes from studio and location shoots.
What do you think your best physical feature is?
My lips and my eyes, as well as my body.
Would you rather have more money or more free time?
I would rather have more money, because I would be able to invest in real estate and businesses. I like to stay busy, so I would rather have more money and invest keep myself busy with that amongst other things. Once the money starts coming in consistently then I’ll be able to plan “free time”, but only for a weekend, lol. Just enough time to recharge then get back to work.
What’s your favorite fast food meal?
I don’t eat fast food anymore. I used to really love Chick-fil-A, now I just eat their fries on occasion.
After refusing to give it a shot, what is something that eventually won you over?
Honestly I never thought I would be able to try veganism. I never refused it, but I genuinely thought I would not be able to do it. Now I look and feel better being plant based.
What place is on the top of your bucket list?
I really wanna go to Bora Bora or Fiji. I love tropical islands, anywhere that is peaceful, relaxing and I can tan.
What is your favorite birthday memory?
My favorite birthday memory was actually this year turning 24. I had a super simple dinner with my closest people and it was really nice with genuine vibes.
What was one of the happiest moments of your childhood?
Being able to spend time with both of my parents at the same time. My parents worked a lot and when one was home the other was working. So it was nice when we all got to eat breakfast together on the weekends and just hang out.
