Shae Nycole is soulful singer/songwriter/actress and Lake Charles, Louisiana native.  She is a celebrated R&B recording artist whose debut single ‘Ready’ was independently released in 2015 peaked at #34 on US Urban AC Top 40 Chart and peaked at #3 on the Indie Urban AC Charts.  Shae explains that Ready, is named for being ready to live fearlessly and love unapologetically, is about turning vulnerability into the power to fuel your own personal evolution.  The rising star lays her sweet and soulful voice over timeless melodies to give fans the experience of love’s ecstasy, rejection, and creating memories of dancing and singing along with the ones you love most.

When did you start making music?

I started making music in 2005, while I was still living in Lake Charles, Louisiana.  My love for making music started there and it’s been uphill ever since.

In what ways has your new music changed from when you first started?

My music has changed tremendously.  My voice especially is now enhanced, because I’ve gained so much knowledge over the years to sharpen this God-given talent.  This has helped change my sound from when I started to my latest single.

How do you feel about the internet in the music business?

I think of the internet as a tool and not a necessity.  By thinking this way, I can use it to my advantage.  Instead of running into all the disadvantages the internet may bring. Overall, it’s a good thing if you let it be.  I love to share my journey on social media with anyone who may be curious or pursuing the same thing.  I think sharing my experiences can inspire or help anyone with a dream.

What inspires your song writing?

Life, I write about everything I go through in life.  This helps me create and relate to those who listen to my music.  I believe talking about life, love and relationships through song has such a special impact with my listeners.

What do you want your supporters to know about you?

I want everyone to know that no matter what it takes always be consistent and never give up in whatever you put your mind to.  It takes hard work and dedication to rise above all tribulations.  Above all, I believe in keeping God first.

Any upcoming projects coming up that you would like to share with readers?

I have some new single releases coming up in June and July.  Also, an EP album releasing early Fall this year.

What’s the craziest thing a fan has ever done to get your attention?

Someone actually tried to kiss me.  Fortunately, I had my guard up and dodged that mishap.

Which song describes your life the best?

“Lessons and Blessings”. It’s an unreleased single, but you guys will get to hear it really soon.

For an all expensed paid trip, which place would you like to visit?

I would love to travel to Dubai or Africa.  They are very beautiful places and I’d love to see it someday.

What qualities do you want in your life partner?

Someone who truly knows the value of being a partner, God-fearing, great communication skills, financially stable and of course good looking.

If God grants you three wishes, what would you ask for?

Eternal Life.  Ask him to continue blessing me and my family, because he has done more than enough.  Give me the opportunity to deliver my message through my music internationally, I’d love to tour the world and share my gift.
