Chef SannyB is originally from Trenton, New Jersey and relocated to Atlanta, Georgia back in 1996. She likes to play basketball, cook, hustle and work out in her downtime. She enjoys her other creative side like cutting her nephews hair, braiding her goddaughter hair and drawing in her direction time. The highest power has truly blessed her with multiple gifts. She has been a chef since 2015, still new to the game and taking all experiences in one at a time.
Why did you choose to become a Chef?
I hit a point in my life where I had no where to turn and I said to myself I know there’s more to life than this. I spoke with my mom, she suggested that since I loved to cook why not go to school for it? A light came on at that point.
What is your favorite cuisine to cook?
I love to cook Mexican food.
What has been your greatest professional success and biggest setback?
Once I graduated from cooking school, biggest setback I would say is being in three totaled accidents. That limits me from being in the kitchen 24/7, but it won’t stop me.
What are three tips for running a successful restaurant?
Being financially stable, having a loyal team and marketing yourself.
What are your future plans for your business?
To get a food truck and promote “clean eating”.
What is your favorite food?
Salad, I love a busy salad. As long as it has plenty of veggies and great dressing to go with it.
Who would be the worst celebrity to have dinner with?
Kevin Hart, because I don’t think I’ll be able to finish my food laughing at his ass all night, lol.
What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
That I’m as soft as a teddy bear in the inside.
What’s one thing that defines who you are?
Coming to the realization that I’m responsible for me.
What’s something everyone should experience at least once in their life?
My character. You have to get to know me though, lol.
