Crystal is originally from New York and located in Florida. She started modeling in 2008 and has been published in over 10 magazines. She has a creative background in musical theater and aspires to bring more of her creative talents to the forefront in the future. She has a soap business that sells soaps and ceramics. She recently started a model management where she shows models how to get published and work with agencies.

How does it feel to be selected as one of the Abners Angels?

I feel honored and recognized.  I’m very grateful for the opportunity.

What inspired you to become a model?

As a child I had a love for pin-up models and aspired to be one of the few well renown pin-up models of color.  I looked at models like Naomi Campbell and Betty Page and see freedom in form.  That was something I wanted to embody. 

What three things do you need to be successful as a model?

Know your angles and weaknesses.  Be good with your word and always try to communicate with your team members.  Always create.  Having pictures and headshots that are recent will better your chances when applying for agencies or auditions. 

What is your favorite physical attribute about yourself? 

My eyes and my abdominals.

Which insecurity would shock people if they knew about it?

I’m insecure about my smile and my overall look.  I constantly remind myself that beauty cannot be seen but rather felt.

How many times have you been published?

I stopped counting after my 11th publication.

What was your favorite Nickelodeon TV show growing up as a kid?

CatDog and Rocko’s Modern Life. 

What album have you had on repeat lately?

The Arcane Soundtrack. 

What is the coolest gift you ever gave someone?

Handmade cake as well as a surprise birthday party.

Which do you love more, Christmas or your birthday?

Neither, I like Halloween. 

What would make life more wonderful for you?

Peace of mind.

What’s one thing you have accomplished in 2021 that you’re proud of?

I have gotten better at my firefans.
