Ryan “LuhRy” Hawkins (pronounced Lil-Ri) is based in the Atlanta, Ga. area, hometown of many hit makers. This rapper/singer songwriter has just completed a viral video release of her new single “Heartless,” produced by Kiddogenius. This single has captured the attention of everyone that has had a chance to hear it. This single solidifies her decision to become an artist. LuhRy is just getting started. Her drive and hard work ethic are sure to drive her to the next level. She looks forward to writing for artists, while preparing for her first project.

How did you discover your passion for music?

I’ve always had a passion for music since I was a kid.  I’ve loved music since I was born.  I just started writing and creating my own music, because of the tragedy that happened with my little sister/cousin being killed. 

What was your favorite artist growing up?

Chris Brown, I feel like I grew up with him even though I’m a little younger than him.  I Idolized him, I sing my heart out to Chris Brown! 

What is your creative process like?

It’s just a mode I get into that makes me feel unstoppable when I’m writing.  When I hit the studio, it’s a whole different vibe.  I love it, I feel in my element when I’m in the studio. 

What would be your dream venue to perform at? 

I would love to perform at Coachella, I know the energy would be crazy!

What artist would you like to perform or do a duet with?

Toosii or Rod Wave.

Name a very popular TV show that you have never watched or you’re just not into?

P-Valley on Starz.

Instagram, Messages and Robinhood. 

What’s your ideal date night?

Out to eat, where the food is great.

What local attraction would you recommend we visit if we made a trip to your hometown? 

The Battery Atlanta, Mercedes Benz Stadium and Atlantic Station.

What’s one thing you would like to get better at over the next year?

Money management, time management and discipline.
