Kayla Nesbitt is from Greensboro, Georgia, but currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. She has been in the modeling industry for four years now. Her long-term goal is to be able open her own modeling agency one day. Her current goal is to be able to transition from acting and to be able to get her SAG at the end of the year.

How does it feel to be selected as one of the Abners Angels?

It feels very remarkable, thank you for allowing me to be apart of it.  I’m definitely excited about this interview!

What inspired you to become a model?

Growing up I use to watch “Music Choice On Demand” music videos.  When watching the creativity that was put into the videos, I wanted to do that.  To be able to erect my own art. 

 What three things do you need to be successful as a model?

First, would be your investment.  Invest into high quality pictures for your portfolio.  Second, would be networking and building relationships.  It’s important to maintain friendships with those who see bigger for you. Third, would be time-management.  Always get ready 2-3 hours ahead of time before a shoot.  You wouldn’t want to be late for a limited time shoot that could be beneficial for your career. 

What do you think the sexiest part of your body is?

My eyes.

Do you like exercising or lifting weights?

Exercising, I’ll be progressing to weights one day.

How many times have you been published?

Twice so far.

Would you spend 24 hours in jail or give your lover your phone for 24 hours?

If I had a lover, I would give up my phone.  If I’m with somebody I’m 100% committed, so I would have no problem giving up my phone.  If I get a business call, let me know. 

 Are you stuck or are you fearing change?

I’m always fearing change.  I don’t know what the unexpected could be, but I know that I’m willing to go through every obstacle to get to the finish line. 

Who was your childhood actor crush?

Larenz Tate.

What’s hard about dating you?

I would say understanding my commitment to my career.  For example, if I get a call saying they need a model on set, I’m there.  I have a goal to reach so there is no time off 

What is something that makes you automatically attracted to someone?

Hygiene, clean pretty white teeth with a nice fragrance smell going on

 What has been your biggest investment so far in 2022?

Books, knowledge is everything.  Without learning there would be no progress to the next step. 

What are the three most interesting things about you?

First interesting fact is that I don’t know how to swim, I’ll learn eventually.  Second, I really love soul food, especially if you have cabbage.  Third, would be my taste in music is very diverse.
