Bryan Thompson (known as B. Thompson) is a 24 year old Pop/R&B Instrumentalist from Indianapolis, Indiana. Child prodigy turned internet sensation B.Thompson’s covers of popular records has garnered social media with views totaling over 100 million. Bryan has been recognized on social media by celebrities such as Chris Brown, Cardi B, Chloe & Halle, Mariah Carey and many more.

Did you always know playing the saxophonist was something you wanted to pursue?

Not at first.  I knew I enjoyed it, but it wasn’t until going into high school that I realized I wanted to make this a career.

What is the most challenging part of making a song?

Marketing and promoting, lol.  No, but seriously the most challenging part of making a song varies for many people.  Still, for me, it’s creating a melody that hasn’t been recycled—creating something that is not too close to something already made.

What was your favorite artist growing up?

I was the biggest (and still am) the biggest Michael Jackson fan.  The greatest of all time.

What would be your dream venue to perform at?

I would love to perform at the Royal Albert Hall in London.  It is one of THEE most beautiful venues I’ve ever seen.

What should we look forward to see and hear from you in the future?

Hopefully a lot! I have a debut album about to drop and I’m super excited about that.  My new album “P.O.V.” will be out on May 13th. You could be seeing a lot of film and television as I’ve decided to branch out in other forms of entertainment.  People should also be expecting a closer look into my life as a musician outside of the sax.  There’s so much about me people have yet to know.

Name one food you refuse to eat?

I hate onions.  I would not renew my lease on life if onions are involved.

What’s the best breakfast ever?

Nothing beats a good ole classic breakfast.  Eggs, bacon, toast, with some pancakes, breakfast potatoes and a cold glass of Orange Juice.  I’m kinda traditional.

What has been your biggest investment so far in 2022?

Investing in my personal growth had been pivotal for me.  I really took the time to learn who I am, discover myself and really become more self-aware.  This is also what allows me to produce and create music that touches millions.

What are the three most interesting things about you?

I am deaf in my right ear.  I am actually of Jamaican descent.  My parents and most of my family were born in Jamaica and migrated to the U.S.

What’s the best thing about your life right now?

The best thing about my life right now is that I literally do what I absolutely love for a living.  I’m very lucky to have a career that doesn’t really feel like work all the time.

How can everyone keep in contact with you on social media?

All my social media platforms are of the same.  Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube are all @bthompsonmusic.  Twitter is the same but with an underscore.
