Working Woman Wednesday. Interview With Miller & Co Aesthetics Owner.

How did you come up with the name for your company?

I needed something that I could trademark and that would have longevity.  A name that would encompass everything beauty and that looked and sounded more elevated.  It took me a while, because I hesitated on using my last name.  Although Miller is a general name, I wanted it to remain that “luxe, elevated” feel.  I kept saying Miller & Co over and over again until I believed it.  I prayed over it and the rest was history.

As a business owner, what are your top three priorities?

Growth, customer service, and customer experience.

How have you expanded your customer base?

I kept a no-compromise mindset with my skill and professionalism.  They remained consistent, I attend continuing education and technical hands-on classes to achieve and stay at the mastery level for the services I provide. 

Are there any stores that sell your merchandise? If not, would you be open to the idea of having it sold at different retailers. 

At the moment, I do not have merchandise in retail stores.  This is a goal of mine to have the Miller & Co Brow Collection sold worldwide.

What’s your favorite social media platform for your brand?


Would you rather make daytime longer or nighttime longer?

Nighttime, I am a night owl! 

What was the best 90’s sitcom?


Where’s the coolest place you’ve ever been/traveled to?

Japan is my favorite country. 

What local attraction would you recommend we visit if we made a trip to your hometown?

Shockoe Bottom in Richmond, Virginia, it’s a very eclectic area. 

If you could organize a good deed project, what would it be?

A female entrepreneur academy or workshop for young emerging females. 

What would you like to do this year, that you did not do last year?

Travel out of the country for vacation.
