Latoya Grier was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. She started modeling in 2017 for her clothing brand Chocolatedoll Clothing.  She was then asked to model as well and fell in love after her first promo photoshoot for York County Fashion Week. She has walked in over 20 fashion shows. 

How does it feel to be selected as one of the Abners Angels?

It’s an honor and very appreciative.

What inspired you to become a model?

I became a model because it’s my purpose in life.  I know God created certain people for certain things, mines is modeling.  

What three things do you need to be successful as a model?

Confidence, motivation and patience. 

What is your favorite physical attribute about yourself?

I love my smile.

Do you like exercising or lifting weights?

No, I do not but it’s very necessary, lol.

How many times have you been published?

I have been published four times. 

What album have you had on repeat lately?

Still Over It by Summer Walker.

Name something you and your grandmother watched together?

The news.

What smell brings back a happy memory?

Cooking bacon on a Saturday morning.

If you had to move to another country, where would it be?

Canada.

What’s your favorite time of the year?

Christmas is my FAV! I love when family get together, do activities and watch movies.

We motivate each other to pursue our dreams.
