What inspired you to become a hairstylist?
Honestly, money! I began doing locs to make ends meet. I have always been good with hair, but it was my passion.
What helped you get where you are today and what steps did you take?
Staying positive and keeping busy has gotten me where I’m at currently. Understanding my purpose in life has put a lot into perspective for me. Knowing the industry will be a challenge, but if I continue to work hard and pray, I will be fine.
As a business owner, what are your top three priorities?
I would say my top three priorities are revenue, expansion and providing excellent customer service.

What was the biggest factor that has helped you to be successful?
God first, my mother’s motivation and remaining both consistent and persistent.
What do you want your supporters to know about you?
Supporters should know that I’m not just a loctician, but also an artist. Everyday things around me always inspire me.
What cartoon did you watch the most as a child?
I loved Tom and Jerry, Chip ‘n Dale and Recess.
If you could only eat at one restaurant the rest of your life, what would it be?
I just found this new restaurant called Catch LA, that Mushroom pasta hits different!

What is something you would like to learn how to do?
I would like to learn how to play chess, it seems like it could be fun.
If God grants you three wishes, what would you ask for?
Keep me healthy and sane, remain prosperous and all my heart’s desire.
What is the most precious thing you have in your life, that’s more valuable than money?
The relationship I have with God, my family and my mental health is more valuable than anything I can get with money.
