Costly Turnover Helps Louisville Upset UCF 42-35

The Louisville Cardinals pick six with 13 seconds left in the game, helped upset the UCF Knights 42-35.  Malik Cunningham threw for 265 yards, 1 touchdown, 1 interception and rushed for 2 touchdowns.  Cunningham led the Cardinals in rushing with 99 yards and Running Back Jalen Mitchell rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown.  Wide Receiver Marshon Ford had 8 catches for 100 yards and a touchdown.

UCF got an interception with 25 seconds left in the game and they were 41 yards away from the endzone.  The next play Dillon Gabriel threw an interception and the rest was history.  Gabriel threw 184 yards, 3 touchdowns and 1 interception.  Running Back Johnny Richardson rushed for 101 yards and Gabriel rushed for a touchdown.  Wide Receiver Ryan O’Keefe had 4 catches for 74 yards, a touchdown and he threw a 20-yard touchdown.  The Knights gave this game away and gift wrapped the Cardinals with a victory. Both teams are now 2-1 and UCF will have to wait to make it in the top 25 poll.
