Tell everyone about your book Next Level?

Next Level is about the love of fashion passed down in my family.  You will also get a little insight on my family’s different career paths, experiences and some dole pictures of them working.

Give us an interesting fun fact about your book?

It took me 3.5 years to put this book together.  Having so much content was difficult when deciding what to keep and what to save for another book.

Which chapter in the book is your favorite and why?

Is my daughter Eunique interview.  I am so very proud of her.  Her determination, tenacity, hustle and self-confidence she displayed on her journey was so inspiring to me and many others.  Proud mom indeed.

What inspired you to create your Godhasaplan shirts and where can readers purchase them at?

GODhasaplan has been a go to affirmation of mine for many years.  Any time I would deal with a situation I would say…GOD HAS A PLAN to stay encouraged, eventually things worked out.  When the pandemic shut things down, I thought it was a perfect time to launch my collection for others to be encouraged and keep the faith.  Your readers can go to my website, godhasaplan.llc to purchase and support.

Lemonade for sure, lol.

Pancakes always. lol.

What’s your go to song that always makes you feel better?

One of my all-time favorites by Kirk Franklin, Imagine Me.

What activities brought you joy and made you feel alive as a child?

I loved being a cheerleader and captain of the squad may I add, lol.  I also enjoyed being a big sister, making sure my sister was good gave me great joy.

What can you do for five hours without getting bored?

Do for hours with no boredom is definitely interior decorating, doing someone’s hair and of course shopping, lol.

What’s something everyone should experience at least once in their life?

I believe we all should experience true, authentic, can’t tell me nothing about him/her love.  It can be from a friend, lover, sibling, family member, etc.  For me love is the greatest gift you can give.

What are some mistakes that you’ve made that you wish you could take back?

Some mistakes I regret are exposing my kids to some toxic situations in their youth.
