A young Brazilian woman called Latína De Santana Santos, who recently moved from Germany to Atlanta is taking over the industry. She sticks out with her exotic look, professionalism and kindness as she’s bringing creativity and good energy to each shoot which makes it easy to work with her. Not only is she modeling, but she’s also working as a personal assistant with some of our favorite artists and athletes. She successfully mentors a large group into financial freedom in the crypto as well as foreign exchange market. 

How does it feel to be selected as one of the Abners Angels?

It came was a surprise.  It’s truly an honor, thank you very much. 

How long have you been modeling and what inspired you to become a model?

Technically since 2016, but that’s just on a one shoot each year basis.  I truly started since I moved, so only three months.

What are the main challenges in modeling today?

The unfit requirements.  To explain it with an example: “Casting a female model for a shoot tomorrow for a major artist at 11 A.M. (full day shoot).  Must come hair and makeup ready. Must provide wardrobe including brown Louboutin heels and brown Berkin bag or brown Gucci bag.  $100.00 compensation”.  I just copied and paste this exact text that blows my mind sometimes.  Of course, girls think that’s THEE opportunity and submit.  Not knowing that you should get paid 5 to 10 times more of that amount.  I work with artists, trust me when I say that I know they or their label have that budget.  This makes it harder for models that do it professionally to get actually their recognition and money they work for.

 What is your favorite physical attribute about yourself? 

It’s either my natural curls or my eyes, both change color depending on the season.  My eyes also have black dots in the iris which I think is pretty cool.

Do you prefer indoor or outdoor shoots?

I think I prefer indoor shoots, because you can regulate the lights and can be really creative with backdrops.  I also love outdoor shoots in the summer when the weather is warm, the only down part about it is the natural lightning.  If you prolong everything then you might miss the window.

What are some of the perks working as a model?

That I always meet people from different cultures with different stories, which helps me understand people minds better.  Another perk is that when the shoot provides wardrobe, then sometimes they let you keep certain items. if not even all of it.

Leggings or Jeans?

Dress! I’m laughing. because I’m a very honest person and some get surprised by my prompt answer.  The reason why I say dress is, because I lowkey hate underwear.  If I can avoid it I will. If I had to choose, I would say jeans.  Jeans can be styled with everything and will never go out of style.

Name a TV series that everyone loves, but you don’t? 

Friends or The Office.  I love how The Office is directed, but most of the times I just don’t understand the jokes.  I think it’s an American thing that I can’t completely relate to.

What’s your favorite breakfast cereal?

Cinnamon Toast Crunch and French Toast Crunch.  If you don’t know about either, then I need you to go to the store today and get at least  one of them.

What is the sexiest thing about the opposite sex to you?

The smile! The teeth don’t have to be perfect, but if you have an amazing smile and when your eyes smile with it, oouuuh.  I just appreciate that.

What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?

Most assume at first, I’m stuck up due to the resting b***h face syndrome.  Once I speak, they’re always surprised about my kindness and ambition.

Who is your favorite historical figure?

I don’t think I have a favorite historical figure.  So many people paved the way so we can have it better today and there’s still so much work that has to be done, just so every community can leave in peace.

When you’re feeling down, who or what is your biggest go-to person or activity?

I talk to my sister, nephew or my cousin.  If I don’t have anybody to talk to at the moment I love walking up and down the beach.  If my family is busy and I’m nowhere near a beach, I start cleaning up and listen to loud music.
