Jyona was born and raised in South Carolina and recently relocated to Atlanta, Georgia a little over a year ago. She’s bi-racial, so she grew up experiencing multiple different cultures. The Aquarius in her makes her a little sensitive, but very feisty. She was born on Valentine’s day, so she is a natural lover. When she is not creating content or building her brand, she loves spending time with family and friends. She desires to leave her mark on the world and create a legacy for herself. At the age of 21, she knows the possibilities are endless and she is working hard to live a life of comfort and luxury.

How does it feel to be selected as one of the Abners Angels?

I’m grateful to have the opportunity to expose my brand to a new audience, so people can join in on my creative world. 

Who or what Influenced you to become a model?

My desire to become a model stems from my love of fashion, content creating, creativity and overall devotion to uplift other women.  As a little girl, I always loved dressing up and taking pictures, so doing this for a living is fantastic. 

Do you prefer indoor or outdoor shoots?

I like both, but I would have to say indoor studio shoots if I have to choose between the two.  I love the creative elements the photographer brings to indoor shoots. 

Would you ever get plastic surgery?

Yes, I believe everyone deserves to comfortable within their skin.  People are allowed to perfect who they are and create the image they desire. 

How many times have you been published?

I have been published twice in the past. 

What is your favorite physical attribute about yourself?

If I had to choose one, I would choose the beauty mark close to my eye.  However, I love my teeth, nose and body. Overall, I just love me. 

What is something you refuse to buy the cheap version of?

I am a woman of luxury and I refuse to buy the cheap version of anything.  I prefer quality over quantity.  I believe women deserve the luxurious things in life and shouldn’t have to compromise. 

What singer had you hooked from the first time you ever heard them?

Mariah Carey.

What is one thing you wish you could change about the internet?

I wish people wouldn’t inflict their insecurities on you and I dislike how people provide you with an opinion that wasn’t requested. 

Who is your favorite historical figure?

Princess Diana.

What do you do to make your soul happy?

I’m true to myself and always take life one day at a time.  I don’t allow things I can’t control to control me.

What is the biggest gamble you have ever taken in your life?

The most significant risk I’ve ever taken in my life was moving away from my family to build generational wealth to start a new chapter of my life.
