Jackie also known as “Atl Goddess” is a Latina freelance model born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Growing up she has always wanted to become a model, but did not know where or how to begin. It was not until the beginning of this year is when she decided to take modeling more seriously and get herself into casting calls and photoshoots. As a young mother it has been hard on her, but she is determined to go above and beyond in her modeling career. 2021 is just the beginning.

How does it feel to be selected as one of the Abners Angels?

I am shocked yet honored, as this is my first publication.

What inspired you to become a model?

Growing up I just knew it something I wanted to do, but did not know who to reach out to or how to begin. Some family members have also influenced me into modeling. My mom has also taken me to a few casting calls when I was younger.

Has your perception of the modeling industry changed over time?

Yes, I always thought it was difficult to get into the modeling industry, but honestly all you have to do is be yourself.

Do you ever get shy in front of the camera?

OF COURSE! But remember to be yourself or it will show that you are nervous behind the lens.

What do you think you look the sexiest in?

Almost anything that includes heels. Hmm, I would have to go with a pair of jeans, heels and a crop top. Now that’s a look for me. Showing off some curves yet simple at the same time.

What three things do you need to be successful as a model?

Modeling isn’t as easy as it seems. From the posing to facial expressions, hair, nails, makeup, feet positioning, background choice, body prep and last but not least, CONFIDENCE! Be yourself, pose with certainty and serve face!

What was your favorite toy as a child?

I always enjoyed playing video games with my older brothers.

What is the craziest gift you ever have received?

Nothing crazy…yet, lol.

Grammys or Oscars?

Grammys, never really watched the Oscars.

Are you a flower person or a gift person?

Gift. I prefer something that will last longer than flowers that will die within a week.

What celebrity would you rate a perfect 10?

That’s hard to say considering no one is perfect, BUT if I had to choose I would say Tupac Shakur.

Have you ever been in love or heartbroken?

Yes to both.

Has there been an incidence that has changed your life forever?

Becoming a mother especially as a young teenager has changed my life drastically, but I would not change one bit of it.
