Carissa is located in Los Angeles, California, she has been only modeling for a little bit of time. It has become one of her passions. In life she aspires to help others, while pursuing what she loves. Her hobbies include creating content, walks on the beach and trying new things. 

How does it feel to be selected as one of the Abners Angels?

It feels great to be selected for this interview.  I am very thankful for this opportunity and happy to be selected. 

Was there anyone that influenced you to become a model?

Growing up I would always watch America’s Next Top Model and always wanted to be like the models on the show.  I had a strong desire for fashion and would always draw clothing.  Once I grew to understand that I could do it on my own, I took a chance and loved it ever since. 

Do you prefer studio or location shoots?

I love both, however it just depends on the energy of what’s around me.  We can be anywhere in the world, even my favorite place, but if the vibe is off so is the energy.  Good vibes only! 

What do you think you look the sexiest in?

I think I look the sexiest in anything I wear, it’s all about loving yourself and seeing the beauty within you.  Having confidence and a great personality is what matters, materialistic things come last. 

Do you like exercising or lifting weights?

I enjoy exercising daily.  I try to do minimal exercises to maintain my body and my health every day, such as going on walks or any cardio.  I enjoy using weights to gain strength.

What physical features do you get the most compliments on?

I get a lot of compliments on my height and my smile.  I had braces for two years and I hated it, but it all paid off.

Have ever dated two people at the same time?

Maybe I have, maybe I haven’t.  I don’t kiss and tell, but if you have a significant other present, loyalty it’s rare nowadays. 

Among your friends and family, what are you known for?

I am definitely the Kim Kardashian of the family, just kidding.  I’m known for having my own things, my own car and own business at such a young age. 

Who is the one person you couldn’t live without and why?

Definitely my grandfather, he’s raised me since I was born and has taught me so much in life.  I’m forever grateful for him and what he’s done for me.

A flat lie or a hard-hitting truth, what would you choose?

Hard hitting truth for sure.  Life is going to hit you in some way so you might as well know the truth rather than a lie.

Are there any areas of your life that could use extra nurturing right now?

Yes, I would say time management, working more efficiently and maintaining my relationships.  I’m always so busy it’s hard to maintain what’s around me, but I am trying to work on that.

What is that one memory that you can never forget?

I have a lot of memories that I enjoy, but I think my favorite one was when I traveled to the Philippines with my family to Palawan.  I got to go snorkeling in clear water for the first time and see the island.  That was definitely one of my favorite times that I will never forget.
