Niccy is 24 years old and currently living in the inland empire. She is a jack of all trades and focused on her modeling and other business endeavors that she plans to share in the future. She likes reading, enjoys podcasts, nature, fitness, loves poetry and music.

How does it feel to be selected as one of the Abners Angels?

I feel honored, because you never who’s watching. It gives me confirmation that I’m on the right path.

How long have you been modeling and what inspired you to become a model?

Honestly, I’ve done two professional shoots since starting out modeling for two years, but I’ve always had confidence in front of a camera. What inspired me to focus and being more consistent with modeling was the breakthrough I had within myself. I always knew I wasn’t meant to fit inside of a box and something bigger was meant for me.

Do you prefer indoor or outdoor shoots?

So far my shoots have been indoors, lol. I definitely like the aesthetics of outdoor shoots as well.

What are the main challenges in modeling today?

The main challenges in modeling today I feel would be to make sure you stand out and be selective with your work. Nowadays everyone wants clout, so just make sure your decisions align with your true values and goals. A lot of people want to take advantage, so you have to protect your energy. Try to set yourself apart from millions of other girls doing the same thing, whether it’s marketing different, style fashion, whatever try to stand out.

How many times have you been published?

I have YET to be published in magazines, but I definitely see that for myself in the future. I get a lot of recognition though, from high end brands that show support or small businesses. Recently Rihanna SavageXFenty reposted my recent photo shoot on her story. I was super geeked of course, lol. I was wearing SavageXFenty, but little stuff like that lets me know people are watching and I’ll soon be published somewhere!

What has been your favorite shoot / campaign / work to date?

My favorite shoot thus far would have to be my recent boudoir shoot. I worked with this amazing L.A. photographer and team and our visions came to life. My first time seeing myself in a different light and also paying for quality work.

If you could only eat three foods for the rest of your life, what would they be?

Oooo!! Seafood, pesto avocado toast and garlic bread. Lol, such a weird combo, but I LOVE crab, salmon and shrimp. I truly love bread and garlic, perfect any time of day. Pesto avocado toast with sunny side up eggs and red onions is addicting as f*ck!

If you could time travel, would you? Why or why not?

Yes and no. I mean honestly who doesn’t wish they can travel to the future or to back to the past. Realistically skipping forward and going backwards only shortens yourself of growth and wisdom. It’s best to just live in the moment.

Where is the strangest place you have woken up at?

Strangest place I’ve woken up would be typical hanging over the toilet drunk in someone’s restroom. That feeling of confusion that “how the hell did I get here” when sober does it every time, lmao.

In your opinion what is the most toxic personality trait?

Definitely a lot! But the most toxic personality trait in my opinion would be narcissism, simply because narcissistic people have a way of thinking their always right in whatever they do and are the main people who LACK self-awareness. Self-awareness is essential to your life and growth.

How do you help your family cheer and encourage each other?

Honestly, I try to uplift everyone, not just family but strangers as well. I’m always sharing stories and inspiration with those in hopes of inspiring someone to be a better them. Just providing words of encouragement to someone can mean so much, you never know who needs that reassurance.

What is a song that will always remind you of a specific person, moment or feeling?

90’s & 2000’s r&b will always give me nostalgia. Chris Brown’s first debut album gives me MySpace days vibes or Rihanna’s pon de replay gives me MTV TRL vibes. Waking up in the morning before school to catch all the hottest hits, lol. Everything was just super upbeat and fun around those times.
