Shout Out Sunday. Interview With Actor/Comedian TJ Boyce.

From a very young age, TJ could always make people laugh with his big personality and charm. He first appeared in local theatre at the age of eight where he took to acting and entertaining naturally. TJ had discovered his passion, and soon after he officially hit the spotlight auditioning and appearing in TV shows and commercials in Los Angeles. This past April, Boyce starred in “Wayne Brady’s Comedy IQ” on BYUtv. The 10-episode unscripted series completed production in Los Angeles and was executive produced by Wayne Brady, Mandie Taketa, Queen Latifah, Shakim Compere, Mechelle Collins and Kevin Dill of Intuitive Entertainment (Bravo’s “The Millionaire Matchmaker,” Lifetime’s “The Rap Game”) and BYUtv.

Describe your comedy in three words.

Unique, ingenious and risky.

What comedian had the most memorable stand up set to you?

Eddie Murphy’s Delirious! Definitely watched it way too young.

What actor/actress would you like to work with in the future?

Samuel L. Jackson, Viola Davis and Leonardo DiCaprio.

What are your long-term acting goals?

AT LEAST a couple Oscar nominations, but I want to take home an Oscar for sure.

Any upcoming projects coming up that you would like to share with readers?

I have an album on the way! Very soon. Also, doing a movie with my little sister.

If you could be great at one sport, which sport would you choose?

Basketball hands down! It’s the sport with the most $wagger.

Which fictional villain is your favorite?

The Joker.

If you could only eat at one restaurant the rest of your life, what would it be?

The Cheesecake Factory. Not because I love it or anything, they just have so many options I could never get bored.

What are your birthday traditions you do on your special day?

Pretend to not be disappointed .

What is a recent accomplishment you’re proud of?

Verified on Spotify, being on a tv show, being on the radio.

If you could go back to one historical event to witness it, what would it be and why?

9/11 just because people’s responses to the event would be interesting.
