Vanessa Michaels is located in Germany, she is a multi-time published model, actress, entrepreneur and is school to obtain her cosmetology diploma. In her down time, she enjoys cooking, swimming and watching Netflix. She is currently a brand ambassador for three clothing lines in the US and Canada and is working on her own product line.

How does it feel to be selected as one of the Abners Angels?

I feel blessed to have been chosen and thankful for this opportunity to be selected as on of the Abners Angels.

How long have you been modelling for and what inspired you to become a model?

I started modelling in 2009. When I was living in Jamaica, I attended an etiquette class taught by Althea Laing, who covered essence magazine as the Caribbean first supermodel. Getting to have the experience of going to Caribbean fashion week meeting many top models is what had inspired me to become a model.

What part of your body gets the most compliments?

My eyes and smile.

Lingerie or Nude shoot?

Lingerie shoot.

What advice would you give to aspiring models?

My advice would be to not let anyone bring you down and stay true to yourself always.

What is your greatest weakness, as a model? What are you doing to improve on it?

Not having enough outfits when shooting. I make sure I bring a suitcase full of different outfits, because you never know how creative a shoot can get, lol.

Personal Chef or Housekeeper?

Housekeeper because I am away a lot, I need someone to maintain my home. I can cook for myself.

Relaxing vacations or action vacations?

Relaxing beach vacations, as I love to swim and tan.

What is the most impressive skill you have?

I would have to say my most impressive skill is uplifting and motivating people.

What did you find most difficult about growing up?

The most difficult part of growing up was moving around a lot due to my mother’s job as child and having to make new friends every time.

What did you want to be when you were small?

I always wanted to be a forensic scientist.

What were some of the best and worst things about where you grew up?

The best part of growing up was being able to live in different places. The worst part was having to adjust to some of these places.
