Working Woman Wednesday. Interview With The Honey Kiss Collection Owner.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I always wanted to have my own business, but it was always hard to decide what industry I wanted to get into. I had recently started taking care of my skin a lot better and decided that I wanted to share my products with the world and help everyone achieve healthy skin.

What current items are your best sellers?

My best sellers that my customers love are the honey lemon scrub and the all-weather beeswax lip balm.

What makes your business different from your competition?

I think what makes my business different from my competitors, is that I try to keep all my products affordable. There are many skin care companies out there. I think that a goal for us all is to help our customers with healthy skin, at a price they can afford.

What is the hardest part about growing your business?

The hardest part about growing my business has been reaching my intended audience.

What advice would you give to anyone who is thinking of owning their own business?

I would tell anyone who is thinking about starting a business, to go for it, but be smart about it. Do your research on whatever you plan to sale and be great at it. Don’t ever give up.

What’s your favorite smell in the whole world?

My favorite smell in the word is cinnamon.

What do you miss the most about your childhood?

What I miss most about my childhood is living with my grandmother. Even though she is a phone call away, it’s not the same.

If you were stranded on an island and could only have one book, what book would it be?

“Be unapologetically you” by Adeline Bird.

What’s one of your favorite family traditions?

Everyone getting in pajamas and meeting at my mother’s on Christmas Eve to eat, play games and exchange gifts.

What’s an alternative life you might have lived, had you made different decisions?

If I had made different decisions in life, I would’ve been a marine biologist.

If you could hold on to one memory from your life forever, what would that be?

The day I had my children.
