Neetu Jattan is from the town of Sangre Grande in Trinidad and Tobago. She has been modeling for a year and a half. Her hobbies are going to the beach, hiking, camping, reading and cooking.

How does it feel to be selected as one of the Abners Angels?

It feels amazing to be selected as a Abners Angel. I am honored that my hard work has been noticed for recognition.

Tell us how you were “discovered” and how your modeling career all started?

My modeling career actually started when J Hamilton offered to do a photoshoot with me. A lot of photographers had been making offers for quite some time. His work definitely had me intrigued and encouraged me to make that first step.

What three things do you need to be successful as a model?

Three things that played an integral role in my success in a career of modeling are
keeping fit, working out has to be a part of your daily routine. Eating healthy, being conscious of how you nourish your body and also mind. Being unique and confident plays a big role in my success of being a model. Last but not least, being a beautiful person inside and out, by treating everyone with respect.

What do you think your best physical feature is?

My best physical feature is undoubtedly my face.

What advice would you give to aspiring models?

I would advise other models to focus and believe in themselves 100%. To invest in themselves so that they can grow and build confidence.

What’s one of your proudest moments in your career?

My proudest moment as a model, was when I was featured in a music video for the entertainer Rome for his song Good Good.

What is one movie you can quote from beginning to end?

One of my favorite movies, that I can quote is Frozen. It teaches you to have a positive attitude and believing in ones self no matter what.

What’s your best childhood memory?

My best childhood memory is of my parents and siblings in the back yard eating pomahac, that my father has just picked and washed. Also playing with the family’s pets.

Tell me about your closest friend from childhood?

My closest friend has always been my mother, she will always have my best interest at heart.

When did you decide it was time to leave a relationship that wasn’t working?

I ended a relationship with my last boyfriend when I realized that it was taking the peace away from my heart.

What’s your favorite movie that helps you to believe in love again?

My favorite movie that helps me be aware that there is such a thing called love is Ever After staring Drew Barrymore.

What is one thing that brings a smile to your face, no matter the time of day?

I smile any time of the day when I see animals. From dogs and cats to snakes and deer. I love animals, they are innocent creatures.
