Sports Madness was first developed in 2017 as Amari and Kamal (brothers) who are sports fanatics would debate for hours. Their brother Amir that is the twin of Amari, handles the production of the show filming and editing. The two were first seen on ESPN’s First Take Your Take multiple times. The duo caught the attention of the First Take cast. Kamal has alopecia and Amari has stickler syndrome; are both advocates for other children and individuals with alopecia and sticklers syndrome. Since that time, they have not looked back and covered the 2019 WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces games and conducted locker room interviews with the players Liz Cambage, A’ja Wilson, Kelsey Plum and more.
What inspired you all to become sports analysts?
We’ve always been arguing over certain sports topics such as comparing players, comparing teams, etc. Then, we thought why not entertain people with our love for sports. We came up with our channel and got to creating content.
Did you always know sports was something you all wanted to pursue?
Yes, we always knew that sports was something that we’ve wanted to pursue. We have always loved watching it and it was something we couldn’t live without. We think we can make a living off of analyzing sports.
How has you all life changed since you appeared on First Take?
Our life has changed since we’ve appeared on First Take, because we have had the opportunity to meet celebrities that we’ve always dreamed of meeting. Going on big name shows, doing interviews and interviewing players of our own.
