A dynamic force in front of and behind the camera, Tiana Najai, is a modern-day renaissance woman. Based in Florida, Tiana showcases her versatility as a model, photographer and entrepreneur. She is passionate about living her best life and helping those around her do the same. Her aim is to build a legacy that promotes
positivity, self-love and financial literacy.

How does it feel to be selected as one of the Abners Angels?

With all of the negative stigmas attached to models, it’s exciting to be part of a platform that showcases who we are behind the scenes.

What was the first job you ever booked as a model?

My first job as a model was supposed to be for a jet ski/boating company.  I never made it to the shoot, because the owner randomly contacted me, while intoxicated.  Harassed me about modeling nude and asked me to find more girls that would be interested in doing the same.  This type of shoot was never discussed and made me
feel very uncomfortable.  The experience was very eye-opening, it educated me on the importance of staying true to your morals, being mentally strong and trusting
your intuition.

What physical features do you get the most compliments on?

My almond-shaped eyes, pronounced jaw-line and full lips.

How do you maintain your figure?

Genetics, high protein diet, gym workouts and living a drama free life.

What are the main challenges in modeling today?

Believing in and staying true to yourself.  This industry is swarming with negative
opinions, biased assumptions and online bullying.  It is easy to lose yourself and be
influenced or discouraged by what other people have to say.

What is your greatest weakness, as a model? What are you doing to improve on it?

My greatest weakness as a model was not taking positive feedback seriously.  Many photographers I worked with told me that I should pursue this as a career, but I always shrugged it off as flattery.  I had to work on myself and change my mindset to finally acknowledge and accept my potential in this industry.

Personal chef or personal fitness trainer?

Personal chef.  I’m a foodie, but I hate washing dishes.

Beach vacation or European vacation?

Europe.  I am surrounded by beaches in Florida, so I would prefer a change in scenery and new experiences.

What’s something you thought you’d grow out of but haven’t?

Surrounding myself with toxic friendships.  One of the biggest challenges with having a big heart and lots of patience.

If you get to have a destination wedding, which destination would you choose?

I’d like to have a destination wedding, but I still need to explore and travel the
world before making a decision.

What’s one thing you’re scared to ask a man, but really want to?

I’m not scared to ask a man anything.  If I feel a certain way, I address it.

What is that one thing if your parent learned about you they would be surprised?

My parents are my best friends.  I think they know just about everything about me.  I am very adamant about not wanting kids, so they may be surprised if I ever told them I was pregnant.
