Kayla Price was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She attended school at Gordon State and got her associates degree in Graphic Design and Art. After college she decided to start my her business and got her masters in Cosmetology. She started her company The Lavish LoungeAtl and used her Graphics degree to start her clothing line Lavish Lady Apparel.

How does it feel to be selected as one of the Abners Angels?

It feels really good! I feel honored to be chosen for this opportunity out of so many other talented models in Atlanta.

Was modeling something you always wanted to do, or did it just kinda happen?

I’ve always wanted to model, but never had the resources or courage to do so.  The older I got the more confident I became in myself.

What is your favorite physical attribute about yourself?

My lips.

What’s one of your proudest moments in your career?

Booking a commercial with GEICO.

What are your modeling goals for 2020?

I would like to branch out to more creative looks and step out the box when it comes to the pictures I take, whether it’s location or concept.

Would you rather go to a club, house party or a small get together of 4 or 5 friends?

Small get together.  I’m my best self when I’m around my loved ones, so I’ll pick that any day.

Who did you look up to as a child?

My mom most definitely.  No matter what I did or what I had going on she was there with a smile and some kind of gift.  Whether it was food, some I wanted or just an experience.

What must be seen or experienced in person to really appreciate it?

Photography.  People may look at it as just pictures, but to actually sit, take time to capture a moment and speak through images only is amazing to me.

What qualities do you want in your life partner?

Someone attentive to the things I don’t say out loud, someone who can read me through my energy and vibes.  Also someone who genuinely gets every part of me, whether it’s good or bad.

What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you?

Due to my eyesight not being the best, I walked up to someone in the middle of the mall thinking they were someone I knew.  Long story short, everyone saw me get looked at like I was insane.

What are the three most interesting things about you?

I’m a graphic designer, everyone in my family owns/owned their own business.  So the entrepreneur lifestyle is in me, I’ll pick up a book before I pick up a remote.
