Diamond P is a Radio Personality, Actress, Motivational Speaker, Entrepreneur and Entertainment Mogul from Atlanta, Georgia. Diamond has worked as radio personality for the past 12 years at 106 Live Radio in Atlanta. As a woman of many talents, Diamond has also dabbled in acting. She has been featured in Barber Shop 3, Saints & Sinners, The Quad on BET and Women on the Rise. She is also a current brand ambassador for the American Black Film Festival. She is also gearing up to release her own anticipated self-entitled book “Da Life of Diamond P” this upcoming 2020 and the release of her body oil collection.
Why did you choose to become a radio personality?
Honestly I didn’t choose to become a radio personality, the credit definitely goes to Mook B of D4L. He’s the one who thought that I would be perfect to become a radio personality.
Any advice for anyone trying to be a radio personality?
My advice to anyone trying or wanting to be a radio personality, be yourself. Be creative and have a great personality.
What do you think doesn’t get enough news coverage?
I believe that Gun Violence doesn’t get enough news coverage.

Look Around, Guns Down is a Gun Violence Awareness Conference that I put together, for parents that have loss their child/children due to senseless gun violence.
What are your long-term acting goals?
I don’t set goals. There’s no limit to the things that I have going on within the industry, I succeed to exceed.
What inspired you to write “Da Life of Diamond P”?
My life within itself inspired me to write this autobiography about me.
What is your biggest accomplishment in your field of work?
My biggest accomplishment is conducting Look Around, Guns Down Awareness Conference successfully.
If you could hold on to one memory from your life forever, what would that be?
The memory that I will FOREVER hold on to will ALWAYS be my son, Jordan Malik {RIP}.

How has your family shaped your personality and who you turned out to be?
My family didn’t shape my personality. My ways and growth comes from acknowledging and correcting my mishaps, staying focused, positive and always keeping God first. Blocking, curving any and all negativity.
What’s your most embarrassing childhood memory?
My most embarrassing childhood memory is trying to impress a 30-year-old man at the age of 18.
