J. Chardae was born in Bethesda, Maryland and raised in PG County.  She is located in Washington D.C. and has been modeling for six years.  She likes weightlifting, photography and spending time in nature.

How does it feel to be selected as one of the Abners Angels?

It feels great to be selected, because this lets me know that I’m doing something right.  I stand out.

Was modeling something you always wanted to do, or did it just kinda happen?

Never in a million years did I think I was going to be a model! I got into modeling simply because, people would always express how they liked my appearance.

Is modeling an easy job or more strenuous than people realize?

It can be both.  I think it depends on how serious the model is about her career.  Stressful for sure.  Travel time, hair, makeup and wardrobe.  Oh, and if you have more than one shoot in a day it’s insanity, lol.

What do you think you look the sexiest in?

Sports bra, leggings and running shoes.

 

How do you cope under the pressures of being a model?

I feel no pressure to do what I love.  I choose to do what I want.  I don’t feel pressure to wear make up 24/7 or be thin.  I don’t care if people see me for who I am, that’s who I am.

What is your most memorable modeling moment?

That’s a good question.  I mean, it’s all memorable.  I learn something from every photographer, model and pose that I do.  But what’s really memorable for me is being recognized in public.  It’s still a little weird, surreal.

If you can be the main character in a music video or movie what artist or movie star would you choose and why?

Music video: Chris Brown.  The tunes he sings over are usually always amazing and I need to learn those dance moves, lol.  Movie: Angelina Jolie. She’s a wonderful human being, gorgeous, sexy, beautiful and a badass actress.

 

What is that one thing that you did in your childhood and felt cool about it, however, now you find it stupid?

I used to wear these tinker bell shoes to daycare/school, because I was obsessed with female Disney characters.

What was the most memorable gift you’ve ever received?

Honestly, it would be a person.  The knowledge he gave me.  He also helped me love and accept myself.  He was my most memorable gift.

What’s the craziest thing a guy has ever done to get your attention?

I would see this guy like 5-6x a week, because he worked at my gym.  He was new and I didn’t speak to him for six months.  We finally spoke, because he got tired of waiting.  He ended up taking me out to hang out with his friends and we had a really great time.  We ended up dating later on, lol.  He was patient with me in so many ways.  I really appreciate that.

Has there been an incidence that has changed your life forever?

Too many to tell.
