New Southern Order was founded in 2014 in purpose to cultivate the entire movement of music and fashion into a positive influence of the South.  The South has its own identity and NSO represents the confidence, identity and culture of the South in a presence that is a proud and positive influence on the world through fashion.  Founder and CEO of New Southern Order apparel born and raised in the South created NSO apparel to express love for the culture of the South.  The streetwear collection is about feeling comfortable, the freedom of expression, being “fresh” and representing the culture of the South.

How did you come up with the name New Southern Order?

The brand name was sort of a playoff of the New World Order, for all those conspiracy theorists is all about taking over the world.  New Southern Order is letting people know that the South is taking over.  That’s why our slogan is “Join the Takeover”.

What was your biggest fear when going out and starting your line?

There was no fear when I created and started NSO.  Everything I ever want to do in life, I just do it.  No matter if its a success or a lesson, I just do it.

What motivates you as a clothing designer?

Southern culture motivates me to design clothing that represents the South and its heritage.

How do you want people to feel when wearing your clothes?

I want people to feel confident and comfortable.  I want them to feel proud of there southern heritage.  I want people to feel like my pieces exude their personality.

When did you realize you wanted to become an entrepreneur selling clothes and was there any name brand/business owner who work influenced you the most?

I have always been a fashion influencer through my style.  Every since I can remember I always wore designer clothes, it’s just my personality.  I am known for being fresh, clean and fly at all times.  So creating a clothing brand that expresses my love for my South and my unique visions of people in my clothes, it came second nature.

What is unique about your clothing?

No one in the South has created a streetwear brand that represents and is dedicated to the southern culture.  The NSO brand is southern culture.

How would you describe your style?

My style is designer and high fashion.

What is something that every man should own?

Every man should have an NSO apparel t-shirt in their wardrobe, you can never have too many tees.

What is your fashion pet peeve?

Make sure whatever you wear, you make a statement.  Step outside the box with your personality.  Your fashion is meant to be expressive.

If you could go back in time, would you do anything differently?

I live with no regrets.  When I wanted to create NSO, I did at that moment.  I did not wait for anyone or anything.  I have been that way my entire life throughout my 25 years of entrepreneurship.

Is there anything you would like people to know about you?

I am a pretty private person.  All I need is people to know “The South Got Something To Say” #NewSouthernOrder.
