Chloe Valentine is a model based in London/Exeter. Relatively new into modeling, she only started four months ago. She likes gaming, reading and writing.  She is studying Sociology and Criminology at the University of Exeter.

How does it feel to be selected as one of the Abners Angels?

Quite interesting really.  I’ve never done an interview outside of applying for jobs, haha. It’s quite flattering to have been thought of and recommended to this, as well as to have people hear what I would have to say!

What was the first job you ever booked as a model?

Most of my work has been out of hobby and occasionally part paid work.  My first officially paid shoot will be this coming Thursday and it’s totally going to bring me out of my comfort zone! It might also lead to my first magazine publication so it’s worth keeping an eye out.

Do you get to travel a lot for your work? If so what’s your favorite city that you have visited?

To be fair, I’d say I have travelled a lot more than I expected.  I’ve traveled a bit far out from my home and to be honest it’s one of my favorite things about what I do.  Think my favorite place so far is Newton Abbot, not very far off from where I live.  The route there is so beautiful and scenic, lots of greenery.

What inspires you as a model?

Anything and everything, I started it as a confidence booster.  I jumped in head on, but the travelling, the people I’ve met, the things I get to do and the opportunities I have, pretty much have all contributed to my inspiration.  I think my biggest driving force has to be my past self, having to ignore and overlook all the negativity in my life has been quite difficult.  It has made me feel all the more better.

What do you think you look the sexiest in?
Oh, good question, not really sure to be fair.  I find I feel most sexiest in lingerie, but personally think anything thats bold and daring can suit me and make me look amazing! I love a bit of floral print of any kind, I think thats a good look on me as well.

What are the best and worst parts of being a model?

Favorite part has to be looking at myself in a different light and being able to think “Oh My God” I look beautiful.  Getting to show off different looks is quite fun I must add.  My least favorite are the negative people you may meet on the way, unprofessional photographers, serious and elite models who bully others, you get to see all sorts.

Favorite restaurant?

Had recently been obsessed with Wagamamas.  Now I’ve moved on to this lovely Italian restaurant called Bella Italia (I’m a sucker for pasta meals).  Really affordable AND good quality food.  They have this meal called ‘Pollo Alla Crema’ which also has all my favorite veg in it, such as onions and peppers.  I’ve got a massive savory tooth.

What’s your guilty pleasure?

Eating weird things in the morning like sweets, biscuits and wanting to eat proper meals. It’s quite funny actually how im jokingly judged for it.  Not really sure how i have a massive craving for a sugar/energy surge in the morning.

What’s your idea of a romantic evening?

A night in with Netflix I think, cozied in the bed and all cuddled up with some sort of lush take out.  It’s an actual dream and has led to some of the most loveliest nights I’ve had in all fairness.

What is the craziest thing you have ever done?

I think going to the university I never would’ve thought I could just have the guts to try and see if I’ve got what it takes.  Traveling hours away from home to study an intense course (I study Sociology and Criminology).  Maybe its just me, but I consider that to be quite insane in my opinion.

What do you think is the number one mistake men make when flirting with or hitting on women?

That they underestimate a women’s prowess and confidence, thinking most of us are insecure and they play on that when flirting.  That we need someone around rather than us wanting them, that they downplay and focus on our weaknesses rather than acknowledging and complimenting our strengths.  There’s more to us than meets the eye and there’s so much more to people than most know.

What is that one quality in a guy which annoys you the most?

The ones that think they are all that, the ones who are so full of themselves, the ones who are bold enough to message and are even bolder to insult a girl when they reject him.  They are the ones who seem go have little self-respect and respect for others.  It is quite annoying to pursue and chase, then insult as a last resort.  Its quite petty and sad actually.

What was one of the best days of your life?

Leaving London, it led me to so many opportunities I never had and never would’ve given myself at home (I’m from London).  I’m at university, enjoying my job more, met my partner and all sorts.  I’m really grateful for some of the more reckless decisions I’ve made over the years!
