Qwanelia Ja’bree is an outgoing and charismatic ethnic model.  She moved to Atlanta in 2010, where she began working with Ethnicity Models.  She has been featured in TV shows/movies such as The Game, Hunger Games, Being Mary Jane and along with others.  She has been featured in music videos such as T.I., The Dream, Saint Jhn and one of Lil Baby upcoming videos.  With her hard work and dedication she continues to thrive.

How does it feel to be selected as one of the Abners Angels?

It is great that someone sees my efforts and hard work, I put forth in fighting to achieve my goals.

What made you become a model?

I’ve always wanted to model and become the face of a major campaign.  I use to love watching Tyra Banks, Naomi Campbell and many more of the greats.

What is your greatest weakness, as a model? What are you doing to improve on it?

My greatest weakness is not being able to be more abstract with my poses.  I’m more commercial and editorial and I’m working on becoming versatile.

What are some of the perks working as a model?

Being able to work with many photographers.  I love that everyone has a different eye when capturing an image or video.

What advice would you give to aspiring models?

Build a portfolio, practice your craft and when the time comes look for representation. REMEMBER AGENTS GET PAID ONCE THEY BOOK YOU A JOB.

Are there any modeling goals you feel you haven’t achieved yet?

Yes I still want that huge campaign.  I’m still working everyday to find that HUGE JOB that can change my life.

What is something you will never do again?

Listen to someone who tells me that I can’t do something.

Personal chef or personal fitness trainer?

Both, I like to eat and work out.

Concert or Broadway Play?

More of a concert girl, but I would attend a play.

City or Suburbs?

As of now I’m a city girl, but I’m ready to move to the suburbs.

What’s your best childhood memory?

During my basketball days, I was said to be the top rebounder in our 5A division in Texas.

What was your worst first (and last) date?

It was a blind date, the guy brought his sister with us.

What was one of the best days of your life?

Seeing myself on TV for the first time on “The Game” TV show on BET.
