It Was All A Dream. Storm cruise to 82-66 victory against Dream.

The Seattle Storm defeated the Atlanta Dream 82-66.  Both teams shot poorly in the first quarter and Seattle led 18-10 at the end of the first quarter.  The dream made 4-of-20 shots in the first quarter and only made 2-of-11 3-pointers with no free throw attempts.

The Dream trailed at the half 45-27.  They made 3-of-4 free throws and made 7-of-17 field goal attempts.  The Dream outscored the Storm 39-37 in the second half and 20 points was the most the Dream scored in a quarter during the game.

Brittney Sykes led the Dream with 12 points and was the only Dream player to score in double figures.  Tiffany Hayes and Monique Billings scored 9 points each.  The Storm was led by Natasha Howard 19 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 blocks and 2 steals.  Jordin Canada was the Storm second leading scorer with 12 points and a game high 7 assists. The Storm had five players in double figures.

The Dream missed a lot of open shots and were outplayed the whole game.  Every time they tried to make a run the Storm would continue to pull away and stop their momentum.  The Dream are 1-1 and go on the road to face to face the winless Washington Mystics (0-1) for their first back-to-back games of the season.
