Naomi Nucia is a beautiful, talented and passionate self-acclaimed model. Naomi was born unto Liberian (Krahn) parents in Washington D.C. in 1994. Naomi was three months old when her parents moved to Kansas City, Missouri, where she was raised. Naomi resumed her model career at the age of six in Kansas City. At the age of 17, in 2013, she left the comfort zone of her parents’ residence and moved to Atlanta. Her commitment and inspiration in modeling have exposed her to various experiences.

What are your modeling goals for 2019?
I would like to get published in more magazines and become a brand ambassador for a recognizable brand.

I would have to say that my smile and my eyes get the most compliments.

Finding your niche and finding a team to build consistent work with.
What are the pros and cons of winning Miss Liberia 2018?
The pros definitely outweigh the cons. The pros are being able to impact the lives of others and create lasting memories.
What inspired you to become a advocate for sexual abuse?
My platform is to raise awareness for women and children who have been impacted by sexual abuse. I’m passionate about sexual assault, because it’s the story of my life and other young children, women and men. I’m a survivor, I’ve experienced the long-lasting traumatic effects it has on ones being. My purpose on this earth is to enlighten and give hope to others.

I started a GoFundMe to help provide clean water to the people of Liberia. The same liberties that we have in the states, in other countries they do not have.
What’s your guilty pleasure snack, drink, or junk food?
My guilty pleasure would be pickles. A habit I believe my mom created with her love for pickles. Every restaurant I go to I always ask for them for extra pickles, even when my food doesn’t come with pickles.
What was the biggest letdown of your life?
It’s hard for me to look at mistakes or trials as let downs, because they all have taught a lesson and served it’s purpose.
What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done for a guy?
The craziest thing I’ve ever done was lie to myself due to a guys feelings or opinion formed against me.
What was one of the best days of your life?
One of the best days in my life would be the birth of my very first event ,PowerTalk. It was everything plus more. When I look back at footage I still get teary-eyed. Winning the pageant also gave me that same emotion.
