What are some of the difficulties of the modeling business?
There are a lot difficulties in modeling. It’s a tough industry to crack into. Just to name a few. You have to have tough skin, because you may not always have the look the designer or client is looking for. You may get turned away for a job simply, because you’re not skinny, big enough or because your nose is too big etc. You can’t let the criticism get to you, there are plenty of jobs in this industry to go around. You just have to find your modeling niche and stick to it. Another one is rejection. You will hear a lot of No’s, before you hear that one ‘Yes’ that will change your career. So just keep going and never give up.

My most complimented features are my smile, my eyes and my legs. I am not insecure about anything. I love myself and my body.
What are some of the perks working as a model?
Some of the perks of modeling for me is getting free products and clothing. I am also a model influencer on Instagram, so companies are always sending me products and clothes to post to my Insta that I can keep for free. Sometimes after a shoot with a boutique or designer I get to keep an outfit or two. Another perk is meeting other models and creatives. I always meet the nicest people on set that I usually end up collaborating with in the future.
What advice would you give to aspiring models?
Just keep moving forward and don’t get discouraged. If you know you are confident in your craft, don’t stop working. You will hear a million no’s before you get that one YES.
What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you?
I was at a costume party on Halloween once. I was dancing and fell in the middle of the floor and everyone just stopped and looked at me, lol.
