Correy Bell is Chicago’s hottest and funniest female comedian on the scene.  She is currently opening up for Mo’Nique for her Las Vegas residency.  She’s appeared on TRUTv’s Laff Mobb Laff Tracks and has been one of Kevin Hart’s featured comics on his Sirius LOL Channel.  This young lady is blazing a path for female comedians across the globe.

How did you discover your passion for comedy?

I prepare material all day, everyday.  If I see something funny, I write it down and come back to it later.

Where do you get your material?

Oh my family most definitely and just every day life experiences.  That’s why my comedy is so relatable.  I say what people are thinking and poke fun at what people are going through.

What’s the best part about your job?

Being able to help heal people through laughter.

What is next for you?

I have no idea! I want it all. Tours, film, tv shows, game shows…the works!

Giving the opportunity to do everything over again, is there anything you would change.

Absolutely not.  My journey is mine.  Everything in it, the good, the bad, the ups and the downs put me in the exact position I’m in at this very moment.  I trust the process.  I’m grateful for every piece of it.

Name three things on your bucket list?

To be a game show host.  To build my dream home.  To have a 6 pack of abs, so that I can wear a string bikini and you can still see the strings.

What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?

I’m super quiet when I’m not on stage.  I’d prefer not to talk on the phone, I love texting.

What was one of the best days of your life?

One of the best days of my life is when my life long spirit animal, Monique responded to my Instagram post and allowed me to share the stage with her.
