How does it feel to be selected as one of the Abners Angels?
I actually feel quite honored to have been selected as one of the Abner’s Angels, because it means my work is starting to sort of pay off. I’m very new to modeling and it just feels amazing that everything is going so smoothly for me. Being one of the Abner’s Angels means that despite my lack of experience, my work is being noticed. It feels encouraging!
Was modeling something you always wanted to do, or did it just kinda happen?
Well, it definitely just kinda happened! I have a degree in linguistics and I used to work as an English teacher. It was when I moved to the United States when I realized it was not as lucrative an occupation as it was back in my country. At that point, I started thinking about all the different things that I could do for a living here in the USA. I guess I just realized I’m pretty good looking and my body type is currently in style, so I decided to give it a shot!
What are the main challenges in modeling today?
I’ve only been doing this for a few months now, so I don’t know that much about the industry yet. Speaking from experience I’d say models need to watch out for people who will try to abuse the situation and take advantage of you. It is extremely important that you prepare mentally and physically for each photoshoot and set your boundaries in advance. Never ever cross them. There are people who want to take advantage of you. Models have to know how to say “no”! Know your value, approach every single challenge with extreme care.
What physical features do you get the most compliments on? What are you insecure about?
It’s usually my butt and chest that gets the most attention. As a curvy model I have a nice hourglass figure that people admire. Apart from that, people often compliment my almond shaped “cat eyes”. I don’t have many insecurities. I’m comfortable in my body, but my legs could use some improvement. Other than that, I don’t particularly like my hair. It’s thin and a little damaged from all the coloring and styling.
What advice would you give to aspiring models?
Hmm I’d let them know not to ever do anything on a whim. Everything should be carefully planned out. Practice poses, try on different outfits and practice make up. Always have a back up plan. Every time I came to a photoshoot not 100% prepared, some mess happened. Like the outfit I had picked didn’t look good anymore, stockings ripped, or the pictures didn’t come out right, because I didn’t know what exactly I expect from the photoshoot. It’s cool to have a few screenshot ideas on your smartphone of the certain poses, certain looks or certain expressions. It helps a lot. Especially when a model is new to this and doesn’t necessarily know what looks good on camera and what doesn’t.
What brings you the most joy in life?
I just appreciate things as they come. I moved all the way across the ocean to a different country, different continent. I don’t have many friends here. I had to start everything over and learn how this country functions with basically no help. I learned to enjoy things as they happen, like a spontaneous trip to the beach or a delicious meal at a local restaurant. That’s honestly enough to satisfy me! As for passions, I love singing and painting.
What is something you like to do that people will be surprised to know about you?
Because of my degree, I’m a grammar nerd. I like to correct sentences and come up with
explanations on why this answer is correct and the other one isn’t. I wish I knew a friendly grammar freak here in Florida, haha. We could be sharing our theories and correct paragraphs together.
What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve said or done around someone you had a crush on?
Oh, this one is so embarrassing and also disgusting. I was getting ready to do the dirty with this super smart hot guy. I had two beers to loosen up as it was our first intimate experience at that time. Things are getting hot, we’re starting to kiss on the couch, I’m taking my top off and I literally just threw up on the sofa. I projectile vomited on his couch, kill me please, I’m dead serious. I’m still embarrassed about that. I wanted to hide and never come out, lol.
What are you looking forward to the most this Spring?
I’m looking forward to starting my own website. We’re working on it now. Hopefully, it’ll be ready soon. It’s hard, because I have too many ideas and concepts that I want to put on my website. I guess I just like to be prepared.
What are the three most interesting things about you?
One thing you definitely can’t tell from looking at my photos is that I used to be morbidly obese and therefore I was lacking confidence. I was hiding under huge, oversized sweaters, black jeans and flats. I literally hadn’t worn a dress for years. Once I lost weight, I started gaining confidence and realized I’m actually kinda hot. I love wearing sexy outfits and taking pictures now. Who woulda thought. Other than that, I’m an amazing cook. I’ll cook just about anything and it most likely will be delicious. Only thing I can’t do is bake. I suck at it but I’m trying to improve. Last thing that I think I mentioned before, I’m a really good singer. I used to take part in all kinds of singing contests back in Poland and quite frequently won. I wish I had more time to sing. I might create a YouTube channel in the future for my fans where they could hear me sing. That’s not going to happen any time soon. I have other priorities.
