Working Woman Wednesday. Interview With Singer Coline Creuzot.

Coline Creuzot is a Houston native, that’s a forthcoming singer and songwriter who has collaborated with the music industries heavyweights.  She has created her own musical pathway, and is leaving a heavy imprint within the soil of the music scene.  Since a very young age, Coline has been alluring her audiences with her powerhouse voice that has resonated over time.  Coline’s music, which is organically written by herself, is a blend of R&B, Soul, and today’s Pop, and her inspiration derives from artists such as Sam Cooke, Donny Hathaway, Aaliyah, Brandy, Tamia and Beyonce.  In addition to touring and recording, Coline has opened shows for hit makers including T-Pain, Drake, Paul Wall, Sammie, J.Holiday, David Banner, Bun B, T.I. and Carl Thomas.  Coline has indubitable faith that her Texan sized voice, style, and soul is a musical gift to all who listen.

When did you start making music?

I started singing and dancing at a young age.  I fell in love with performing, writing and creating.  I sang throughout school and at local competitions.

What inspires your song writing?

I am inspired by life.  Most of my songs are based on personal experiences, either something I am currently experiencing or have experienced in the past.

What are your musical goals?

I have so many! My true goal is to reach and connect with people through my music.  I know music has been such a great outlet, a sense of therapy for me.  I hope my music can do that for others.  Along with some #1’s, Grammy’s and world tours!

Describe your music in three words?

Sincere, Heartfelt and Tells a story.

Any upcoming projects coming up that you would like to share with readers?

I just finished my debut EP!! I Cant wait to share it!

Who would be the worst celebrity to have dinner with?

Im not sure, lol.

What should every woman try at least once in her life?

Cutting her hair off, it’s liberating.

What is your destination for the trip of your dreams?

I’ve been to some pretty cool places.  I haven’t been to Italy yet, would love to go there.
