Mimi Pace was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri and now ready to explore the world! She has been modeling since the age of eight participating in local magazines, fashion shows, and online promoting.  She has a passion for fashion and traveling.  She enjoys cooking and getting dirty playing sports such as football , soccer and many more.

How does it feel to be selected as one of the Abner Angels?

It feels good.  I am thankful for the opportunity to express to you, as well as the acknowledgement for the work that I have put in.

Was there anyone who influenced you to become a model?

Yes, my parents.  They assisted who I naturally was. At four years old I wanted full control over my fashion.  I had to be the one who chose my outfits when shopping and shoes and accessories were a must have.  I was mesmerized by the entertainment industry.  At five years old, I put on fashion shows and performed for my family and neighbors. I even made them have tickets to get in.  As a child my parents kept me in dance and different entertainment classes. Including my first modeling experience, for a local magazine at eight years old.  They encouraged me to find a channel to express my interest and love for fashion.

What was your first big break in the Industry?

Although I’ve had the opportunity to work with lots of local talent as well as national companies, at this point I don’t feel like I have reached my “big break”.

What has been your favorite shoot?

I would say my favorite shoot has been with Pink LippsCosmetics, because I was able to experiment with different looks that were colorful and flashy.

What are your goals as a model?

My goal is show others especially woman, that you can look and be different and still achieve your goals.  I know as a female it can sometimes be very difficult to accept who and what you are due to societies expectations.  However, everyone is different for a reason.  Embrace your differences and use it to your advantage.

What’s one thing that defines who you are?

I have high standards of myself and those I surround myself with.  I find it very important to be goal oriented and stay inspired by surrounding myself with people who are driven to experience more than just an average life.

What’s the best $5.00 you ever spent?

On food! I love food.

Do you think your childhood was better or worse than other people growing up in a similar place and time?

Better, because my parents made strategic moves to change our environment and what we were exposed to.  They taught us that there was a much bigger world than our block, city or country.

What do you collect?

I collect clothes in general, but I have more shirts.

Picnic in the park or dinner in a restaurant?

I love food, so I am always open to new experiences no matter the location.  However if I had to make a choice, I would say dinner in a restaurant.

Bowling or miniature golf?

Bowling.

What’s the scariest thing you’ve ever done?

In California I went swimming and snorkeling with leopard sharks.
