Major the Artist was born Isaac Alexander in Rockford, Illinois.  A city located about an hour outside of Chicago. A place where some of the best artists were created from Muddy Waters, Earth Wind & Fire, Mavis staples; and in more recent years’ artist like Jennifer Hudson, R. Kelly, Common, Kanye West and many others.  Major believes one must follow through on his or her dreams to know if your blueprint works or if one needs to re-strategies to reach a level of success that pleases them.  Major The Artist continues to invest money and time into his music currently available for digital download.  Singles such as “Moonshine” Feat Cee Cee is an infectious record that set the tone for the rebirth of this talented artist.  Major has worked alongside super producer Seneca Cayson who has produced for artists such as Pattie Labelle, Sound of Blackness, and Yo Gotti.  Seneca formed a group with Donnie Morse called Dosen Park that consisted of 12 members which included Major.  The Album was called “Emotion Sickness” and the project landed them a spot on the “Family Tree Tour” the headliners included Slum Village, the late Phife Dawg along with Jarobi from A Tribe called Quest and Dwele.  It’s a new year and the time has come to reintroduce Major the Artist to the world.
