Hailing from Miami, Florida Monalisa Andre has 11 years modeling experience.  She has appeared in music videos, tv shows, magazines, etc.  Although she is short, she has the spirit of a giant.  She is a hardworker and loves being in front of the camera.

When it comes to modeling, what is something we would be surprised to learn?

Taking images are not easy.  You have to find the right pose that fits the shoot and of course that shows off your body the right way.  A lot of people think it’s easy just to stand in front of a camera and take images, but it’s not.

Which supermodels did you look up to when you first started your modeling career?

Adrianna Lima from Victoria Secret, she’s gorgeous and Eva Marcille (America’s Next Top Model 2004 Cycle 3 winner.)

What are the best and worst parts of being a model?

Best part for me is the photo shoots, I love being on set.  My alter ego comes out, lol.  The worst part for me is sometimes not getting booked for a job due to my height.  I’m short, I feel like my experience should speak for itself.

What is your most memorable modeling moment?

My first cover was my most memorable moment.  Seeing myself on that cover was a feeling that was unexplainable.

How would you describe your personal style?

I’m a tomboy at heart.  I rather wear shorts with some sneakers.  I only wear heels when I’m going out or on set.  I’m not a big fan of them. (Shrugs)

What is your fashion pet peeve?

I don’t think I have any.  Thus, things I’ve been told to wear on set have been sexy and comfortable.  Maybe need to take the waist in, since my waist is tiny.

What is your favorite place you’ve traveled to?

I loved Puerto Rico.  The food, the culture and the people.  Going back very soon!

What sports do you play or enjoy watching?

I loveeee basketball.  I’m a die heart Miami heat fan!  I go crazy when at the games, lol.

What is the craziest gift you ever have received?

Lol, A dildo.  Let’s leave it at that.  Lol

What’s your idea of a perfect date?

I love, love, and love romantic things.  So perfect date for me is simple.  A home cooked meal, over candles, a movie rental and cuddling. Simple! Lol.

What is something you would never catch you wearing?

Hmm, I’m normally open to most things.

What are your hobbies besides modeling.

I love traveling, eating lol and trying new things.  Working out has become a fond hobby for me.
