Atlanta hip-hop pioneer Lil Jon will headline “Turn Up The City” on Sunday, June 14, at the historic Fox Theatre, bringing together several influential artists and DJs for a live celebration of Atlanta’s music legacy.
The one-night event will feature performances and appearances by YoungBloodZ, Pastor Troy, Crime Mob, Lil Scrappy and Trillville, alongside music from DJ Emperor Searcy and DJ Mars.
Organizers describe the production as an “Atlanta rap revue,” blending live instrumentation, orchestral strings, DJs and classic Atlanta records into an immersive concert experience highlighting the city’s influence on hip-hop and nightlife culture.
In addition to live performances, the evening will include a featured conversation with Lil Jon discussing his upcoming book and career in music, entertainment and pop culture.

“This event is about celebrating Atlanta’s soundtrack and the artists who helped shape the culture,” organizers said in a statement. “Fans can expect nostalgia, energy, live musicianship and a one-of-a-kind experience at one of the city’s most iconic venues.”
Known for helping pioneer the crunk music movement in the early 2000s, Lil Jon became one of Atlanta’s most recognizable producers and performers through a catalog of club anthems and collaborations that influenced mainstream hip-hop worldwide.
The event is expected to draw music fans from across the Southeast and arrives as Atlanta continues to host a growing number of major entertainment and cultural events throughout the summer.
