Evelyn Braxton, of WETV’s Braxton Family Values and widely known as the matriarch to America’s talented siblings, Toni Braxton, Traci Braxton, Towanda Braxton, Trina Braxton, and Tamar Braxton will join Senior Pastors, Bishop M.B and Dr. Brenda Jefferson for a special two-day Mother’s Day Event! Braxton, who is known for her witty charm and unique recipes, will be giving a sneak preview as to what it’s like to be “the mother of the Braxtons”.
First, on Saturday May 13 from 1pm to 3pm, there will be a special meet and greet with Ms. Braxton at Mr. B’s Southern Kitchen at 3401 N. Nebraska Ave in Tampa, FL. “It’s amazing to support an organization that does so much good in the community. It’s an honor to be there and celebrate this Mother’s Day weekend with the Jeffersons. Look at God…,” says Braxton. Known for their one- of-a-kind signature recipes and southern charm, it was their philanthropic benevolence of supplying +10,000 meals to victims affected by Hurricane Ian that grabbed her attention. Admission is free to the public, and they are inviting all of Tampa to come and meet the famous matriarch.

Secondly, a special Mother’s Day service will take place on Sunday, May 14 at 11am at Living In Victory Church in Valrico, FL where attendees will hear about the powers of motherhood, and celebrate all of the virtues that mothers bring to the world. Braxton will sit on a panel with Dr. Brenda Jefferson where they will share their wisdom gained through the years in order to help the next generation. This service is also free and open to the public.
Since the ending of Braxton Family Values, Braxton has developed her own brand of “Ms. E’s Recipes’ and recently published a cookbook entitled “Cooking with Ms. E: A Book of Recipes and Family Memoirs’ ‘. The book is currently available on Amazon and Barnes and Nobles stores nationwide.
When asked about the event, Dr. Brenda Jefferson said “I’m truly thrilled to have Miss Evelyn Braxton join us for our Mother’s Day Weekend Celebrations” as she utilizes her gifts as a mother and mentor to all. Her presence will be a blessing to our church community and a heartwarming experience for all who attend.”
