Working Woman Wednesday. 10 Questions With Owner of Envi’us.

Who or what inspired you to open Envi’Us…

When I started my journey, being a hairstylist and an owner of two salons in the Bahamas.  I have worked on many black people’s hair resulting in all courses of natural hair.  I bought different products which were more expensive, so I had to think of a way to save money and use something that actually works.  I had to put my plans to reality and thought if I made my own products that will be compatible for all hair types that would be great.  I did just that.

My top three priorities as a business owner are…

Customer satisfaction, maintain cashflow and business expansion.

One thing I use in my business everyday is…

“A PRAYER”.

The best thing I ever did for my business was…

HAVING FAITH AND TRUSTING GOD!! I’ve made major sacrifices where I spent my last to invest in my brand.  Now look at Envius!!  Who knew Envius would make it on shelves in many beauty supply stores in both the Bahamas and America.

My 2023 business goals are…

Travel to beauty shows for more product exposure, customer satisfaction and financial gain.

My house smells so good when…

My favorite candle scent of Georgia Peach from Bath & Body Works, aromas throughout my apartment when boxes of orders have been shipped out to stores.

The skill I would like to master is…

Time management skills and financial management.

My word for the year is…

SUCCESS.

The best thing that happened in 2022 was…

The ecstatic feeling hit me when Envius was expected to be on shelves at a beauty supply store, In West Palm Beach, Florida.  Then I realized it was a start for growth.

My life changed for the better when…

Facing reality, it’s not where you start it’s where you finish.  Envius was not a popular brand until I started to market in America.  Networking, marketing has brought Envius from afar.  Meeting amazing people and believing in both me and my brand keeps me focus and pushing.  Sometimes it gets discouraging when people say NO they don’t want to try it, because a stylists use a specific product or they use a particular brand.  I use NO as next opportunity because everyone has their preference.  I am grateful to see where Envius has made it and where it’s going.
