TRVE, pronounced Trev, is a music artist hailing from Atlanta, GA. TRVE has been noted for his musical versatility across music genres. TRVE is verified with over one million followers on Instagram. TRVE’s latest song, “Day and Night” featured Los Angeles artist Ken Shibata and gathered over one hundred thousand streams on Spotify in just three days, along with being picked up by Magic Records for a re-release. TRVE is back to give the fans what they wanted with all new music and a new album “DOPPLEGANGER” dropping soon.
What inspires the music you create?
Experiences and challenges I’ve gone through in my life have inspired me to create the music that I have made.
What was your favorite artist growing up?
I grew up listening to many genres and styles of music. If I had to pick one, Michael Jackson was definitely my favorite artist growing up. Michael Jackson was one of the greatest performers and artists of all time. He was able to incorporate singing, dancing, costumes and stage composition into all of his performances. He is not only the first, but also the best to create a magnificent show out of all these components.
How do you feel about the internet in the music business?
The internet has definitely changed and evolved the music business. I think in many ways it is a good thing. It is much easier to showcase music, art to the world now, because everyone has access to the internet at their fingertips. It gives artists and creators access to a global audience.
What would be your dream venue to perform at?
Mercedes Benz Stadium, Madison Square Garden and State Farm Arena are definitely my top choices. However, when I was 8, I went to State Farm Arena (previously known as Phillips Arena) and saw American Idol. I knew then that it would be my dream to perform on a stage like that.

What did you want to be when you were a kid?
I’ve known since I was very young that I always wanted to be an artist and make music for a living. It was, is and will always be my passion.
If you could have an unlimited supply of one thing, what would it be?
I would choose time. It’s the scarcest resource and we never have enough of it.
What’s the best gift anyone’s ever given you?
When I started to really dive into music, my parents helped me get into artist development. This includes, vocal training, recording, choreography and more. This definitely helped me get started and find the path to success. I’m very grateful to my parents for supporting and allowing me to do artist development.
Name one thing you are grateful for that money cannot buy?
I’m grateful to my parents, my family and my friends. Everyone has been very
supportive, always helped me become the best artist and person I can
What’s a historically event you wish you were alive to witness?
If you make one change in your life, no matter how impossible it seems, what would that change be?
There’s not much I would change in my life. However, if I had to pick one thing, I would choose to have more patience.
