Abners Angels Presents Interview With Model “Tyra”

Tyra is located in Atlanta, Georgia and has been modeling for four years. She likes traveling and new restaurants. She is always looking to network and see what the future holds for her.

How does it feel to be selected as one of the Abners Angels?

It feels AMAZING.  This is my first time experiencing something like this.  Who would have known one event could turn into a future opportunity?

What inspired you to become a model?

I grew up being friends with models, video vixens, ambassadors, etc.  I used to be a shy person but growing up I was raised around a lot of celebrities due to a family business.  The celebrities would always be surrounded with these beautiful ladies, that are literally there just because they’re pretty.  I quickly realized that life or lifestyles were different for those that knew how to turn themselves into a business or a platform of some sort. I finally got in on the action and my life has been amazing since.

What three things do you need to be successful as a model?

Well, I would like to start off by saying that technically I’m not a “successful model” YET, but I’m working my way towards it.  Follow the right people on social media and network with them. Every interaction is a business opportunity! Some of my followers are celebrities and verified accounts.  Some of them have even slid into my DM before, lol.  Networking can take you a long way.  When looking for paid opportunities, DONT think that every payment will be big.  It’s okay to start off taking low business payment.  They will eventually grow into bigger ones when you get noticed more.  You don’t have to get naked just to be known.  I promise you there are other opportunities out there! You can gain followers and notability with your clothes on.

Which insecurity would shock people if they knew about it?

The fact that I sometimes work with or have friends that have over 50k followers, have been in so many music videos, etc., is sometimes an insecurity of mine.  Those who have work done to their bodies.  I work with some amazing and beautiful ladies sometimes and all I can do is say WOW. I think to myself, how did I end up with these people? How did I end up in this kind of circle? It makes you look at yourself and start comparing things sometimes, but I just enjoy the moment and try to forget about it.  When I see myself on camera all those thoughts go away and excitement starts to roll in.

What do you think the sexiest part of your body is?

My boobs, lol. Females with fake boobs always ask me about them or try to touch.  It’s funny to me, because I would pay to have theirs and they actually paid to have theirs similar to mine! Besides my boobs, it would be my hair! I always have a new style I want to try! I’m so thankful for my stylist Kevyon (@xoticslayzz) and Shaquala (@thesgway_)! They are amazing, always more excited than I am to try out new styles that bring a lot of attention to myself and their businesses.

Lingerie or Swimsuit shoot?

Lingerie most definitely.  I haven’t done any shots or business with swimsuits or swimsuit lines, but I can see it happening in the near future.  It will get me out of my comfort zone and lingerie is my comfort zone.

What is the one technology that has made the world a better place?

Social media has made the world better in some ways.  Don’t get me wrong, it can be negative, BUT it can also be a positive.  If not for social media, most businesses wouldn’t have the hype that it does.  Most people that have turned themselves into a business would have to work harder.

If you had a 100,000 of something to your life, what would you choose other than money?

Successful business opportunities all over the world.

What is something that gets you angry?

I don’t like disrespectful people.  Don’t disrespect someone that hasn’t given you that same energy.  I read a quote one day that said “Kindness is a language that the deaf can hear and the blind can see” it speaks volume! The Bible says “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.” – Colossians 3:12-13

What killed your feelings for someone you were once madly in love with?
Believe it or not, I have never been in love.  It’s funny to talk about, because my friends always get upset that I can’t relate to certain things when it comes to this topic.

Would you leave a high paying job if it didn’t align to your core values?

Definitely, I choose myself over anything else.

What three things are you most proud of in your life to date?

Joining the Army, attending an HBCU and becoming closer to God and my faith.

How can everyone keep in contact with you on social media?

Just DM me on Instagram @therealtyra.t.  I’ll always respond.  It might not be the same day, but I will respond.
