Tell readers about your new book Prison Kingpin?

Prison Kingpin is a story about a black man who served over 28 years in prison over his involvement in America’s illegal drug trade.  Tells the story of what life is like for those that lived through the years Kato served in prison.

How did it feel to become a published author?

The feeling of becoming a published author, for me it’s just the beginning.  Humble and blessed.

Give us an interesting fun fact about your book?

Fun fact is that 90% of my book is factual.

Describe your book in three words?

Raw, uncut and needed.

What do you feel separates your book from others?

My story is the story of millions of black men and women in America, but it’s the story never told.

What did you do as a child that would be considered dangerous today?

Swim in lakes with alligators.

Are you stuck or are you fearing change?

I’m never stuck always evolving, no need to fear change it’s the inevitable.  Stagnation is a cancer that spreads and I can’t be consumed by such.

What is something you always wanted to learn, but you were too afraid to try?

I’m not afraid of anything but God, but I would like to learn to fly a plane.

What has been your biggest investment so far in 2022?

My businesses.

If you had the ability to erase something that you did in the past, what would it be?

The years I missed out of my kid’s life doing prison time.
