What inspired you to start your own business?

Back in 2018, I knew that there was more for me.  I was working as a Paralegal for over 10+ years, but felt like something was missing.  I wanted more, but did not want that “more” to come from office work or accruing more student loans debt.  I have always had a love of fitness and enjoyed working out, not just for the physical benefits, but for the mental benefits as well.  There was a time when I was younger, that I was going to pursue personal training.  However, that was not the path that I was going at the time.  Since working out was a big part of my life, I wanted to have and be able to provide high quality activewear at an affordable price.  At the time, it appeared that the leggings that I desired were always over $100.00.  I wanted that quality not just for myself, but for others as well.

For a first-time buyer, what items would you recommend to purchase from your website?

I would recommend leggings from our Exodus Basic Pro Collection.  These leggings are extremely soft, comfortable and squat-proof.  These leggings are the type of leggings that you wear while working out and when you are just relaxing.  They are just that soft, stretchy and comfortable.  For first-time male buyers, I would recommend our unisex t-shirts or hoodies.

Are there any stores that sell your merchandise? If not, would you be open to the idea of having it sold at different retailers.

At this time, my products are not sold in any stores.  However, I am definitely open to the idea of having my products sold at a variety of retailers.

What’s your favorite social media platform for your brand?

My favorite social media platform for Kuredge is Instagram. 

What is unique about your clothing?

What makes Kuredge’s clothing unique is that it has a semi-street flare.  There are some flirty sets available, but overall, our focus is quality, comfort and sustainability.  Our look is more simple.  We aim to design our unisex items with a more street style.  A comparison would be that I enjoy dress and heels, but I also love jeans, combat boots, a tee-shirt and a leather jacket.  Kuredge is just that, a combination of both worlds.

What’s your favorite smell in the whole world?

My favorite smell in the world is Fabuloso lavender scent :).

What’s your guilty pleasure snack, drink, or junk food?

My guilty pleasure would definitely be junk food.  I have portion control issues with certain junk foods.

What fashion trend makes you cringe or laugh every time you see it?

I do get a kick out of seeing fashion trends circle back around.  I love seeing the kids now wear the type of clothes that I wore growing up as a kid.

If social media disappeared forever, what would your last post be?

My last post would be a post that would encourage and uplift, as well as inform my followers how to keep in touch.

What’s something everyone should experience at least once in their life?

If possible, falling in love.

Are you trying enough in life or do you prefer to play it safe?

At this point in my life, I am definitely trying enough and pushing past my comfort zone.
