UCF Cruises By Bethune Cookman With 63-14 Victory

UCF and Bethune Cookman were tied at 7-7 and the Knights scored 28 unaswered points before halftime. The Knights led 35-7 at the half and the score was 42-14 before Bethune Cookman scored again. Running Back Isaiah Bowser only rushed for 59 yards, but had 4 touchdowns for UCF. Dillon Gabriel threw for 332 yards, 2 touchdowns and had a rushing touchdown. Wide Receivers Ryan O’Keefe had 8 catches for 110 yards and Brandon Johnson had seven catches for 81 yards and a touchdown.

Shannon Patrick threw for 238 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception for the Wildcats. Wide Receivers Daveno Ellington had 5 catches for 78 yards and a touchdown and Darryl Powell Jr. had 6 catches for 51 yards and a touchdown. The Wildcats didn’t have much going for them on offense and only 279 total yards compared to UCF 671 total yards. They did manage to score two touchdowns against one of the best college football programs in the nation and wasn’t shutout. The Wildcats are still winless at 0-2 and UCF is undefeated at 2-0.
