The Celtics jumped out to a 66-41 lead at halftime and Kemba Walker had 20 points in the first half. All of the Celtics starters scored in double figures and Walker finished with 28 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds. Jayson Tatum had 25 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and Jaylen Brown had 17 points, 6 assists, 4 rebounds and 3 blocks. The Celtics overall had a good night shooting the ball, making 56% of their field goals, 40% of their three pointers and dominated the inside with 66 points in the paint.

The Hawks went on a 13-0 run to start the 4th quarter, got the lead down to 108-99 and wasn’t able to get any closer. Trae Young had 31 points and 11 assists and Clint Capela had 24 points, 15 rebounds, and 4 blocks. Cam Reddish and John Collins both struggled with each of them shooting 3-of-13 from the field and Young and Capela were the only starters to score in double figures. Solomon Hill came off the bench with 12 points and 4 rebounds. The Celtics improve to 15-14 and the Hawks are 12-17 now.
