DeMar DeRozan started off the game with 14 first quarter points and Spurs went on a 16-0 scoring run right before halftime. The Spurs led 77-48 at halftime, outscored the Hawks 41-19 in the second quarter and DeRozan had 22 points at the half. DeRozan finished the game with 23 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds. Jakob Poel had 14 points and 12 rebounds and Dejounte Murray had 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. All the Spurs starters scored in double figures, Patty Mills had 12 points off the bench and Lonnie Walker IV had 11 points off the bench.

Trae Young had a good first quarter with 17 points and finished the game with 25 points. Clint Capela had 14 points and 11 rebounds and Rookie Skylar Mays had a career-high 20 points off the bench. Mays made 7-of-10 from the field and was 4-of-5 from downtown and gave the Hawks something to look forward to in the future. The Hawks outscored the Spurs 42-15 in the fourth quarter, but they were too far behind to catch up. The Hawks have lost two in a row and five out of their last six games.
